Those are poker mistakes that were gathered from articles from two major foreign gambling portals - Poker espanga, the leading poker portal in spain, and Jack Vegas - a leading Casino portal in Sweden.
1. Playing too tight. Sure, you should play tight, especially if you’re a newcomer, just don’t become too predictable. Playing like a machine would work for one session, or two, and if you are playing with regulars, you will be doomed to fail. If you enter a pot, only players with better hands will try and stay with you in the pot, and will be very aggressive. If you are auto-folding every time you miss the flop, you are going to get a reputation for being easily bluffed and you opponents will catch on when you do have a good hand, making them quick to fold against you. Vary your tight game; show some mediocre cards you played with, just to let on that aren’t a by-the-book player 100% of the time.
2. Playing the right blinds. The rule of thumb for this matter is having a budget (bankroll) of 5000 times the big blind. Also, you should consider your bankroll as being the money you are willing to lose for poker purposes. It’s not your whole bank account!...

If you're looking to play a fun game of Blackjack, it helps to have some information about the game and also what to expect when you are playing. The truth is, if you aren't careful and don't play the game with some tact, you could walk away losing a significant sum of money. However, if you are a bit analytical and observe the cards carefully, you could actually make a hefty sum of money.
Blackjack is also called 21. In this game, your goal is to get to 21 or as close to 21 as you can without ever going over. If you go over, it means that you have busted and that's the end of the hand. When you're playing casino black jack, the dealer typically faces one to seven players. Each player goes against the dealer and is independent of the other players.
The 2-10 count for their value; jack, queen, and king are counted as tens; and ace is counted as an eleven or a one. When you start, two cards are dealt to you face down. The dealer gets two cards, one that is faced up and one that is faced down. Knowing now what three cards are for certain on the table, you decide whether you want to stay at what you have or go higher. If you decide to get another card, you can get closer to 21.
If you bust, the dealer automatically wins. But, if you stay at your number under 21, the dealer now tries to beat you without busting. If the player wins, he wins the money. If the dealer wins, the house obviously gets the money. Since the dealer is playing against so many players at once, he may lose a few hands, but he will also win some hands. In other words, the house always does walk away winning.
The reason this game is so highly loved is that there is a mix of luck, but also some statistics in the game. Assuming three high cards appear, you can sort of guess what the next card might be which helps the player determine what to do. This card counting is best done by those that can do the math in their heads fast because the game can be tremendously quick.
When you're playing blackjack, there are typically minimum and maximum bets. Typically, the casino bets work in a 1:1 ratio. So, if the player bets $5.00, he walks away getting his $5.00 plus another $5.00. If a player has a blackjack which is an ace and a card equal to ten, some casinos have a 3:2 ratio. For every two dollars that the player bets, the casino pays $3.00. So, put $10.00 in a bet, you walk away with $15.00.
Blackjack is definitely a game that a lot of gamblers really appreciate the play. It does require a little bit of skill; however, if you're going just for fun, you don't need to worry about card counting and can rely entirely on your luck. But, if you play too fast, you could walk away losing a tremendous amount of money.

For a long time, the most popular type of poker was seven card. In the 2000s, though, there was the sudden emergence of Texas Hold 'Em, a community style poker that really became popular in casinos. Now, it is the most popular poker in casinos. With there being games such as no limit Text Hold 'Em, it really is an exciting game that thousands of people love to play. There's the chance to make some decent money if you play right.
The first part of the game is obviously the shuffle and the deal. Each player gets two cards. The player to the immediate left of the dealer has to put in the small blind and the player to the left of that player puts in the big blind. Once that is done and once the players have looked at their cards, they can determine if they want to play. To play, each player needs to match the big blind. Once that is done, the dealer flips over three cards which is called the flop.
This is where players decide if they want to play or if they don't. They can fold, check, raise, or call whatever they want and betting goes around. Once betting is done, the dealer burns a card and then flips another card called the turn. Now there are four cards that are on the table. Betting once again goes around and players can put whatever they want. The dealer burns another card and flips the fifth card which is called the river.
Now that the cards have all been flipped, they do one last round of betting and then show their hands. The winner gets the pot obviously. There are cases where there are ties and the money is therefore split. But typically, one player has the highest hand and voila, they get the money.
Poker is a game of chance, but also a game of skill. You need to know when you want to bet and when is a bad time to bet. It all depends on what you're holding before the flop. Sometimes, players play aggressively and other times, they play more defensively. But, in the end, you need to have your poker face on and an understanding that you're going against at least another three players, so you could easily lose if you're not careful.

Playing the slots is probably one of the best known things to do at the casino. If you watch a movie with a casino in it, you'll see hundreds of slot machines all going off and then, every once in a while, an old grandma screams out because she's just won. That's the typical movie. But, the real thing is, the most widely known aspect of a casino are the slot machines because they are so easy to play and don't require any skill. You bet and hope.
The way the game works is very simple. To play, you need to purchase the right. What this means is you insert cash, a coin, or on newer machines, a ticket which allows you to then play. On older slot machines, you then pulled down on a lever which got the game going. On some new games, you push a button a touch screen and the game starts. The goal is to try and match three symbols. By matching them, it determines how much money you're going to walk away making.
You can bet different amounts when you're playing. There are penny slot machines where you just bet the very tiny penny per pull. Granted, the rewards aren't as great, but if you're just playing for fun, you get one hundred pulls for one buck. Then there are higher amounts. You can bet as much as $100 per pull; however, these are typically in very reserved areas where there is an individual staff of servers who take care of them.
Typically, slot machines are programmed to pay 82-98% back to the players. To explain this, consider this example: For one million spins, each one is paid with a dollar. So, that is one million dollars that is paid into that slot machine. If the slot machine is triggered to pay back to the people at 90%, that means that $900,000 will go to the players and $100,000 will go to the casino. So, your odds of winning something are there; however, ten percent don't win.
The slot machine is the pinnacle of the casino. Everyone knows about them and they are probably one of the easiest ways to make some money. However, the thing to remember about the slot machine is that they are also probably one of the easiest ways to lose money in the casino. So, play the slots and have fun, but keep an eye on your tokens. Keep a close eye on those tokens.

Folks at the relatively new (literally founded about six months ago) outlet, employing the rational philosophy of getting to the slot player’s heart through his wallet, is currently offering a 100% match bonus for up to a whopping $1,111. Yes, you read that correctly.
